Mouse freezes after quickcast

My Cursor with quckcast keeps sticking

lets take olaf's q for eg

So without quickcast, i can press q and change directions and distance of the spell and then cast it. --- Normal functioning of game. With quickcast i USED to be able to HOLD q, while i was holding q i could change direction and distance then RELEASE q and cast it. --- Normal Functioning of game.

Whats going on to me right now and i HAVE NO idea how to fix it with EVERY spell while i have quickcast is:

I press q, then my spell sticks to wherever my cursor was when i pressed q, and no matter where i try to drag the cursor after, the distance and direction WONT change. so when i release q it casts it at the direction and distance of when i first pressed it. The only way the cursor unlocks afterwards and i can adjust everything is if i hold q and press another spell that i either dont have or is on cooldown, and then after the error message saying i cant cast it goes away then it unlocks and i can adjust the q`s direction and distance so when i release q it casts it wherever i want.

DOES ANYONE know a fix... its super annoying because now i have to turn quickcast off to change my spell direction or i have to live with the fact that no matter what i cant change my spell direction once i press q and/or hold q.
