I have started up league a couple of times now and each time I open it within about 5 seconds my computer is freezing completely... Can't even move my mouse or control alt delete. What's up with that, and is anyone else experiencing this (patch 5.5).

I've got the same issue, have to hard-shutdown every time I try to play League. Ran the repair client from the patcher, and I've already tried a full reinstall, neither have worked. People also seem to be having the same issue with Window's 10 technical preview, however, I haven't installed it and am having the same issue.
Yeah... After a bit of research it's actually the recent windows update that is at fault and not league... If you wanna fix it you're going to have to uninstall the update and if you don't know how google. Sidenote: this has happened before with last years August update to windows which they ended up pulling. Be mad at microsoft not riot... At least for this issue.
