Quinn q still blinding renekton w

Can sombody explain to me why quinn q still blinds when it says clearly on the skill that "blinds target if not a champion"? after playing against her with renekton its clear that quin still has her aa blind not just a vision blind. can somebody explain this or tell me if its supposed to happen?
