Can't Smartcast E while camera is locked

I recently got a new laptop (ASUS ROG G551) and for some reason I can't use Shift + E to smartcast my E while I'm holding space to lock my camera to my champion. I've never encountered this problem so it's a bit strange... any solutions?

Change your keybind for spacebar. Make it toggle lock camera when you hit it, instead of having to hold it down. Should solve your problem.
