League goes untargettable

Everytime I change a summoner spell in champ select (ex. to ) my league client dims and i can no longer click a champion or log out or anything. Then after the game I have to end the client through task manager and re login to play another. Anyone else having this problem? It didn't start for me until patch 6.1.
