Bugsplat but game continues. /Remake is your savior.

I chose my champion and did customized my masteries to my liking then went onto my spells. I bugsplatted as soon as I clicked my summoner spells and but then the game continued and when I relogged, I was in the game as a jungler with exhaust and flash.

Why didn't the match cancel when I got a bugsplat? That doesn't seem fair. Luckily /remake is there.
