Game stops responding after Champion Select

So this has been happening to me for a long time now. Every single time I start loading into a game it stops responding. It happens right after the champion select closes and the next part opens. I have tried many things to fix this. I am unsure if this is an issue with the game or if it has to do with my computer but either way help would be much appreciated.
