Jungle Item Bug

I was playing xin zhao top lane and had my bamis cinder completed and so I noticed i could build the jungle item even though i didn't have smite. So I thought why not might as well get cinderhulk bought it my Bami's disapeared and my gold was take but I got no item.

You can see I didn't sell it and that i had to rebuy Bami's.
