Server broke?

Today, 4/28/16, servers went down for a fix. When they came back up I started receiving only 7 LP per win in ranked. What is the deal? Is there a mistake? If this is what I have to look forward to now then I am finally quitting for good. Just curious if this is supposed to be happening or maybe a glitch.

I am Silver II with 30 LP. Last season I never had LP gains anywhere near this low and I was Silver I. I generally get 17-20 LP. I currently have 50% win rate in ranked past 20 games because I got impatient and solo queued a couple times. HUGE MISTAKE. But 7 LP? Are you serious?

I'm a bit confused. You're S2? I only see 1 ranked match this entire season...and that was today. According to the LoL client, you're unranked with 0 wins in provisionals.

Thanks. Hmm...nothing really jumps out at me other than you had a bit of a slump back in B3. Normally, what causes what you're seeing is due to clamping as you approach the top of a tier. Basically, the losses you had a 0 LP that didn't kick you back a division still lowered your MMR and therefore it wasn't really up to the average MMR of your current league. So it plays catchup by giving less LP for wins and more for losses.

That said...I think I just noticed the issue. You're doing Dynamic Queue with 1-2 other people that are bronze. As such, you're playing against opponents that are (on average) bronze MMR. You can't expect to rise in the ladder playing against players almost a full tier lower than your own. That works for a little while but Riot is clamping down on that because it was highly abused especially at high elo. But yeah...you're playing against bronze and low silver opponents, so you won't advance until you can show that you are silver I or higher...by playing against other silver I and higher players. There's a massive gap in skill between bronze and low silver versus silver I/gold V.

Edit: Your MMR is (probably....only Riot could actually know!!) roughly Silver IV for reference.

The problem is resolved. I am doing nothing different I think there were just issues with the server that day. My friends had same problem.
