PC freezing after keyboard input in game

My league game has been having problems recently. Once in game every time I press a button on my keyboard (whether the button is mapped to an input or not) my entire pc freezes for multiple seconds. It typically ranges from 2-30 seconds but it has frozen my computer for up to 4 minutes. The bewildering thing is that if I exclusively use my mouse I encounter no problems whatsoever. Furthermore, If I left the game then rejoined it would fix the problem, but since yesterday that solution stopped working. Now I can't play league at all. I don't know if it is some compatibility issue with one of my programs or something else. Nobody I have seen has encountered this same problem. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem stayed the same. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Update: I tried running league as non administrator for all of the accounts on my pc and that seemed to fix it :D
