thats because every mobility spell in the game if cast at the precise right time cancels displacements. this was recently seen with riven and the boards exploded about it even though it was explained to be afflicting every champion. unless riot recodes the way the coded either knockbacks or movements this bug will continue to exist.

I've seen a renekton do it a vayne and even a jayce, and i saw a vid of a riven doing it after 7.2 with thresh flay

there was a bug with riven e which was fixed. the bug that was fixed was simply what allowed riven to do it easier then other champions. but the actual coding problem is still there. just harder to pull off.
