I can't get to loading screen

So earlier today, I was playing a game of League. Played as Heimerdinger, and finished the match. I then went to play another game, as support Annie, and when champ select ended, my screen went black. The game had crashed before going into the loading screen. I thought nothing of it, and just went to reconnect. I still couldn't get to loading screen. I tried later in the day, making a custom game with only me and some bots. I had the same issue. After looking up my problem online, I couldn't seem to get a solution besides opening up the patcher and selecting "Repair," but then someone said that they did that and the problem came back the next day. The thing is, these forum discussions are from years ago. This bug makes it literally impossible to get into a game. If anyone has the solution, it would be great to hear it.
