Installing the same update twice?

Not long ago I got into ranked game, winning and about some time of a game my screen went down ( thats my pc fault but now..). Then I got my system up again and turned on League and THEN, it says like 2384092389042 time that League will now install my new desktop shortcut view which I already have and THEN it starts a 20min update that I've just done before I got into game - so what is this? I was in promos for G4 and I could get back in game and do it - but the same update pops like 90340324 time? What is this? Weird crashes happen to me whenever I am in promos or something like that? I already had crashes with client and etc but I fixed it somehow and now I am really pissed? - sorry for language, but now I am probably back at the start again with some reports for AFK.
