Installing League on my new PC, not working

I got the League of Legends installer downloaded and every time I run it, the ETA skyrockets into the thousands. I've uninstalled and downloaded the installer multiple times, restarted my computer and even tried the hextech repair tool to see if that could help. Still nothing.
