Gladiator Draven axes stop glowing when using w

When using the Gladiator Draven skin, the axes glow when you have Spinning Axes (Q) activated. However, for some reason when you use Blood Rush (W) the axes stop glowing and look default. I looked at older videos with this skin and they continued to glow using w, but now when you use w the glow is gone until the w runs out and then the glow comes back on. Was this changed so it does this or a bug? main wondering. The link shows the skin when it was released and as you can see he had both axes spinning and both glowed and both still glowed after he used w. Why doesn't it glow now?
