Mikael doesn't interrupt Malzahar's ult

Hi. I was Bard and Malzahar ultied Gragas from my team, I was near, made insta Mikael on Gragas, but it just gave a low amount of health, that's it.

So, if Mikael is useless versus Malz's ult, can you help me against what it's also doesn't work? So there would be no suprises for me?

I listed what it works on by quoting its item description. it says: Removes all stuns, roots, taunts, fears, silences and slows. If it isn't one of those. It wont work on it.

The best way to counter Malz ult, is out of his victim's control. Someone inturrupting him is the only realy way to get out of it. The best way to handle it otherwise is to not play into it. Don't play risky in lane when you're too low of health.
