Taric I was at 96 lp for my support rank, and decided to play top for the 4 lp splash point and won my game, which gave me 100 lp. It didn't show that I was qualified to advance to plat 2, but when I play my support role and won the game, it then said i was qualified for advancement for plat 2 and I have to win 2 games. not sure if this is a fault in the new ranking systems, but please fix this.

Well I am off to play an extra game that wasn't necessary, wish me luck! Thresh

I think its intended so that you can't demote/promote off of playing different roles.

That is working as intended. Splash lp will only get you to exactly 100 lp and you then have to win a game in that role to advance to promos. Its so you cant play a different role to splash you into promos.
