Unable to choose a champ in champ select

So i queued for a ranked game and when it came to me choosing my champion, it wouldnt let me lock in. I was clicking on corki but nothing happened. As a result of this, the client counted it as a dodge. Has anyone encountered this? It seems pretty unfair that i have to get a dodge for a bug.
