[GAMEPLAY] Teleport - Projectile Bug?

When I teleported to a tower from my fountain and used a projectile (i was playing gnar), the boomerang shot at the fountain direction even if my mouse was pointing to the enemy nexus. Is this suppose to happen? I have tried it with other champion (lee sin [q]), and it happened again. Is this a bug?
