Self Ulted Yorick keeps buffs after death

I was recently playing a game as yorick and every time I ulted myself and either got a kill on someone with a buff I would still have it after respawning until the buff timer would normally end. The buffs would not disappear from yorick even after the timers had run out. Sorry for my bad english.
