Hextech bug when you already obtained all 4 chests

Okay, so apparently when you're out of chests for that month, when you get an S rating with some champion you never unlocked a chest with, that champion STILL gets locked for that season and you can't get chest with it. It's probably a bug, it just happened to me. I already got my 4 chests, and I bought Khazix and played couple games. I got an S, and this happened: http://i67.tinypic.com/5n7og2.png

I got a lock on him, but no chests received cause I already reached limit for that month. This shouldn't be happening, champions are supposed to be locked only if you obtain chest with it, and not if you get S mastery.

I sent a ticket regarding this problem, to inform the devs. But I made a board post to see if anyone else experienced this? Did it happen to anyone else? Is it bug that randomly occurs or is it something that's always there and needs fixing asap? Because chances are, we will most of the times be out of chests to get, and if we get locks even then, we won't be getting that many chests per season unless we only play with same champions all the time (that we already obtained chests with i mean)

I got an S rank on Lux with my chest maxxed out, and she isn't locked.

Maybe you earned a chest on Kha while playing with friends, without getting an S rank.
