Champ Select Bug (Lost LP)

So while banning in champ select, I banned my final champion and then went to edit my masteries. I hovered over an icon of a champion and the splash art apeared. It wouldnt go away. It was on top of the "X" to close my masteries. So I was stuck editing them and I couldnt escape. I couldnt choose a champ, it said I dodged, brought me back to the home screen, and made me lose LP. This is the 4th time this has happened. What is going on...
