Premature Kick From Ranked

So i decided to play ranked today, and when i got into my game i was chosen to ban a champion. As the timer ticket down I was deciding on what champion to ban....I got to about 6 seconds and decided to ban Yasuo....timer hit 5 seconds as I clicked ban and got kicked for "Not locking in a ban" and hit with a 5 min time penalty. Any one else having this issue???
