Dual Monitor Disconnection Issues In Champ Select

Whenever I am in champion select (which is open on my primary monitor) and I click over to my 2nd monitor to check facebook, youtube or whatever it may be, my client disconnects and it usually ends up in me auto dodging the game because it won't reconnect me. I play with about 50MS ping so I don't see how my internet could be an issue... I've had this problem for a while now and it's starting to become frustrating. Someone please help.
