Sivir and Leona interaction

When Leona E's onto a Sivir who spell shielded the e she still dashes to Sivir, only the .5 second root is shielded. Is this really how its supposed to work? This bug is pretty game breaking in my opinion especially considering people who don't know this (as I'm pretty sure it's an unintended bug) wont save spell shield for Leona's Q. I was using the snowstorm Sivir skin, I hope this isn't because some dumb easter egg where all of Leona's abilities do one more damage to snow or water champions thus causing her to dash.

No, it's intended. All spell shields block the root but not the dash.

its is intended to work in that way spell-shields like banshee, nocs, sivir, morgana etc, block cc and negate damage, Leona e will always make her dash to the last target hit with her E even if they don't get rooted, on only certain knock back skills will stop her dash, but has a Leona main i learn to play around disengage skills that would stop my engage, just like how thresh well timed flayed will stop most dash, Leona can still dash to her target if she is knocked back just has her e lands, if she is knocked back before she performs her dash then she will immediately dash after she been knocked back

If you Spell Shield Thresh's hook, Thresh can still re-activate to dash to the hit target's position.
