My game doesn't load in.(I get leaverbuster for it)
Ok. First of all, when my game loads, it doesn't load in and crash. It is annoying after a while, because I get in low priority queue. Any solutions?

Faster Internet; Most games now recommend a solid 15Mb/s speed. Obviously having more is useful, especially if you have multiple devices hooked up and online at the same time. But if you have it minimalized, then 15Mb/s should work great.

New internet modem/router; Having an out of date modem/router from your ISP can cause issues. Usually after about 3-5 years it is smart to call and ask for a new model, often by that point you are usually available for an upgrade, so you won't have to pay for it. If you aren't available for an upgrade, or they don't have a new model, ask if they can recommend brand and model versions that you could buy at Walmart, that are compatible with your service.

Wired internet; While using wireless has the ease of being able to play anywhere, you will often have to deal with lag. Hardwiring your connection between your PC and the internet will solve that to a degree. You will still experience some lag, but it will hopefully be reduced.

Have less background programs running while playing; I get it, you want to have music going, or discord to chat...or even a few tabs open on your browser while you wait for the match to queue up. But having these open can slow your pc down. By minimalizing the amount of other programs you have running in the background, it makes it that your pc can focus more on League.

Tweak you PC settings for gaming mode; Most PCs now have options in settings so that it will focus on a "gaming mode" where it will prioritize running any gaming over other processes.

Tweak League settings for lower quality; While you may want to see every bit of detail of that bird on the wall in League, pushing League, and by proxy your PC, so hard on graphics will cause the game to lag. By having everything set to medium or low, you reduce the impact the game has on your pc.

New PC; This is last on the list because it is the most costly and time consuming. Sometimes no matter what else you do, League will still lag. Often, this means the game can't be run properly by your aging PC. Most PCs become obsolete after about 3-5 years. If you have a gaming pc, they tend to last a bit longer, somewhere between 5-10. Start saving money where you can, and get about $1,000 off to the side to get a decent desktop PC. I say desktop because buying a laptop will be more expensive in the long run, costing anywhere from an extra $200...to almost another $1,000 to get it to the same point a desktop would be at.
