Problem with Patch 5.20 (Mac User)

Hello! I was wondering if I could get some answers to a problem. In the latest patch 5.20, I've been coming across major problems with my ping. Sometimes it says Attempting to Reconnect and when I join back in my ping ranges from 200-450 ping for around 5-6 minutes, which is unplayable. after this it says Attempting to Reconnect again and then I'm back to my original ping level. (50-60) This has never happened to me before. (I use a Mac) If this can be solved it would mean a lot!
