Is there something wrong with S7 placement

I was gold 5 in S6, finished placement today with 4w6l, and got b4,b!!! MY half MMR just disappeared XD Some one can give me a reason, and if anyone having the same situation

i was plat I and did 7w-3l and now i'm gold 4, so yeah something is wrong, i played with some people who were diam v did 5-5 and ended silver I

I was Plat 5 and went 10-0, end up gold 4 as well

Flex queue or solo/duo?

Flex queue is a hard reset as there is no previous queue sample so everyone will start off fresh MMR.

Solo/duo queue had a soft reset which means everyone's MMR will drop significantly after placements. For example, the highest you can place is Platinum 1 (even if you were Challenger last season and went 10/0 in placements). Typically most people will see themselves drop a full tier +/- a few divisions depending on your placements.
