No option to restore HUD

After reporting this problem 3 times, I was directed to the forums to possibly establish contact with the developers. Apparently, the option to restore the original HUD is not available at this time. When can we expect to see a fix for this issue?

The new HUD made me quit the game for months. It might work for some people, but not for me. All that needs to be done to rectify this for people who prefer the original HUD is to implement an option for it in the options menu. I'm confused why this hasn't been done already.
