Permanently stuck in new champ select

Stuck in the "Please Wait" section of new champ select, before choosing a postion. Apparently the server is unresponsive as the client reminds me every few minutes with an "ErrorquitV2". I also cannot exit the queue unless I log out.

I get stuck at the same part every time I log out/log back in, so getting into ranked games is now impossible. After verification I have the same problem with normal draft too.

I had a successful normal draft earlier. The problem started after I queued for a solo ranked game. It was my second experience with new champ select. I chose my positions, primary support and secondary fill. I started waiting for a match only to find out the queue was taking an unusual amount of time to match me, especially considering the positions I chose. After 3 minutes, I had to take a piss so I decided to exit the queue, only to find out that the exit button was unresponsive. I had to log out then log back in, and now I'm stuck with the current problem.
