I played a ranked game and our team won. Our fed jinx apparently had a pathetic largest crit strike compared to an ap nidalee. Looking through match histories I see that nidalee is always critting with no crit chance items/runes or masteries
I noticed this as well, I think it has to do with a target being "hunted" when she uses her Cougar form Q (which can get some ridiculous damage if the enemy is low hp)
Riot's match history has always been kinda weird in some fields, such as healing done. Perhaps they wanted Nidalee's Takedown (hunted and/or not hunted) to use critical strike damage numbers for display and it appears as a critical strike in the match history because of a mistake or oversight.
Does Karthus Q show as a critical strike in the match history when it hits a single target?
The triggering attack for Takedown will apply other on-hit effects and can critically strike as normal.
The attack is always displayed as a critical strike as long as the target is marked as Hunted, presumably for reasons of clarity.
