Rengar ult + Trist ult = flying kitty

So I was just playing a game as Rengar top and they had a trist. They take our nexus towers and start shooting the nexus. Trist is standing between the towers maybe 3 feet from the nexus shooting it, i spawn, hit R and jump on her. Mid jump, she ults me and somehow i go flying back, not towards the fountain which was behind me, but I get sent flying forward all the way past our dead inhib tower in mid lane. I have no idea how this happened, neither does anyone else in my game...

Crozz, DiscoGirl, ubetterpray, mosgod51, h0r4c3, CeciDiamond, Dario, Divinetechnique, and StarNoseMole were all in that game and can back this up....
