Shielding from demotion after demotion?

Hey guys. I recently got demoted from S5 after a long streak of bad games, this caused me to get the "critically close to demoting" thing above my rank. Anyway, after I demoted, I still had this, I then worked hard and ranked up only to find that I was still critically close to demoting and demoted after 1 loss back into bronze 1. I don't know, I think this is a bug but maybe not. It seems strange that after demoting this shielding from s5 continues but at the same status? Image below. https://imgur.com/a/wiPrJL3
