Losing my series because of "Failed Patching", are you serious Riot?

So for the last few weeks, almost everyone that I know has been getting this patching error that causes you to restart client to patch. Well, it just did it to me in the last game of my g3 series in champ select where i had 1 win 1 loss. This is completely unacceptable, as it forces me to do my series all over as well as climb back into it. Is there any way I can have some kind of LP reimbursement, because that is pretty messed up.
