Mac Problem on Champion pick

Every time during the champion pick phase of a game if i switch to an internet browser I always get disconnected from PVP.net. Sometimes it reconnects sometimes it doesn't and I end of getting banned because of this problem. It really sucks and has been a problem for a while now.
