Darius R-Ult (Noxian Guillotine) vs Zhonya's Hourglass

I was Morgana, it was late game. I was dominating 10-0 and Darius was doing fairly well on the other team. Darius just killed our AD kennen (don't ask) and i went in after him. I ulted him and used my Black Sheild, Darius decides to Ult me. I use my Zhonya's and block his Ult. After my Ult stuns him i use my Dark Binding and Tormented Soil. I believe it is enough to finish him, but then out of the blue he Ult'ed me again and killed me. I don't understand if this is a feature of his Ult to reset the cooldown if he Ults somebody in Zhonys or if this is a bug.

You more or less just cancelled the animation, meaning he gets his ult back. It's not a bug, it's working as intended.

It's an intended feature of his ultimate. Darius's ultimate is very telegraphed and can easily be prevented using Zhonya's Hourglass, so they just refund the cooldown (and I think the mana cost, but I haven't tested it). However, IIRC, his ultimate counts as a movement ability so he cannot use it while snared.
