Riot Client wont open

I have been having this problem for a while now (so i have been using legacy), however, now that legends of runeterra has released, I need to update the client to play.

The problem is: The client installs the update, than nothing happens. The riot client services appear in my task manager (background processes) but nothing opens or is open.

I'm having the same problem, I updated back in December and my chat went away after trying every possible fix, my client opens to a error message and task manager can't even close the program.
