is this some type of bug i cant play normal mode anymore because every game i play i am matched against people with a way higher skill level, meaning i lose most games and dont even enjoy playing the only way i can have fun in normal is playing with my iron ranked friends then we are matched up against other silver- bronze level players and i do decently okay is this a bug or something?
Normals don't have any link to ranked MMR, normals only use your win/loss ratio in normals to determine who you're going against
It's like comparing someone's challenger in team fight tactics and you'll go against him in normals then complaining about it even though the two modes have nothing to do with eachother
Your normal MMR is too high. I see this a lot, especially on alt accounts (Rito has some kind of alt detection to link your alts to your higher MMR accounts). If you actually suck and keep losing, then your normal MMR will eventually drop to the point where you are matched against scrubs.
