[CLIENT] Problem with "repairing" some "possible data corruption"

I just want to play some LoL but I can't. Will somebody please help me?

Every time I click on League of Legends and the patcher opens, I get a message:

         "Possible Data Corruption Detected"

When I click yes to repair the problem, it appears to fix the problem at a very slow rate. However my computer has froze every time I have done this. It stops at a few different percentages, usually not making it past 1% or 2%, but it got to 5% last time I tried and 7% before that. Whatever the case, my computer froze and I cannot do anything but restart and try something else.

  1. Click League of Legends on desktop.
  2. Patcher opens, error message appears.
  3. Click "Yes".
  4. Error message goes away, patcher tries to repair the data corruption.
  5. Computer freezes.

Happens every single time. This is extremely frustrating.

Here's my computer's specs if it helps.

  • Dell Inspiron M5010
  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • AMD Phenom(tm) II N850 Triple-Core Processor 2.20 GHz
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 64-bit Operating System
