Kalista ult and item bug

when I was playing a recent ranked game my duo partner and I found that the item for Kalista doesn't work. We were able to link souls but the animation never went through, there was no viable leash between us and the item never left his inventory. Not only were we having problems with this but her ult also didn't work. When Kalista pulled me in I could not get out. If I clicked any where it did nothing and at the end of the ult I wasn't thrown out. I was just moving on top of Kalista for 3 seconds then I could gain back my control. This is a very odd glitch and we lost several team fights because I was unable to engage as Galio.
