Since this new patch my League of Legends keeps crashing when logged in.
I put in my account name and password, then i login the game and after that i cant move my mouse anymore and my laptop is not reacting on anything i do. After this crash i restart my laptop to try again, same thing happens now.
Any one else got this problem?
Yep, PC freezes as soon as I log in and I have to force restart it. At this point Im scared of trying to play cos of what damage might happen to my pc from restarting it so much. Can riot make a statement about this or put an exclamation point thingy and tell us when it'll be resolved?
I play league on mac and whenever im in game it randomly crashes. Also theres visual bugs left and right, for example theres a big red square in the shop, and also the announcement for double and triple kills are broken, its just a big square box with messed up graphics. I plan on re downloading league, but if it doesnt solve my problem then im going to stop playing until these bugs get squashed. I dont understand how riot could release such a big patch without checking it for bugs.
Ok, i got logged on, but in loading of my second game it crashed again, and now is doing that every time i try to reconnect.
The same prob here, log in and then crash both, game and computer, maybe i should stop tryng to log, anyone has some answer?
I am having this same issue, I opened my league client, let the game update then hit play, accepted both of the terms and proceeded to log in..
My game then froze completely, the whole laptop [Toshiba] was frozen.. so I held down the power button so it would shut off.
When I finished restarting the comp. I then tried to open my league client again. On the patcher page, a message now pops up that reads: An unspecified error has occurred. Please check the logs for more information.
I don't know if this is just the patcher gone wild or if I really screwed something up, but at the moment I can't log in or access the log in page..
Please help :'( 
when I'm in a game suddenly i will crash and its only happened since the new update anyone have this?
I'm able to log in, but whenever a game starts there's just a black screen and then later it says I can't connect to the servers.
I'm having the same problem.
yep me 2..... red screen...then poof! crashed 4 times in one game!
Same problem, I can play for 5 minutes and then the client shuts down again. Also some parts of the shopping screen are a weird red colour.

I get in-game, and the visuals go all crazy. I get red backgrounds on shop that are transparent, a black background around the minimap and center hud console. (as if it was a transparent background, then got colored black)
Also have had the visuals put black splotches all over the screen as well.
Yup, same problem for me.. When i log in it shows a little of home screen then it crashes, mouse and keyboard stop working. Funny that audio from video i watched in browser kept playing.. meaning networks works too.. Seems like somehow related to video cards more likely. Im hoping for fix.
Found a fix tought maybe not for everyone this will work:
Running lol.admin.launcher.exe didnt crash my pc after i loged in ;) But the messed up homepage stayed.

Exact same problem as everyone else since new patch. Game crashes at start of game, then subsequently every 4-5 minutes LoL will freeze in game and I have to reconnect. Please fix Riot, thanks.

Im getting the same problem where at the start of every game the screen would freeze and display a reconnection message for the whole match
I have been experiencing this problem but with a few minor differences . I experience a game crash one or two deaths into ANY game I get in and its beyond frustrating because I am now being punished with a leave buster for "afk" in a game which I had no control over because MY GAME KEEPS CRASHING! Please fix RIOT!!
i Have the same problem, after i log in to lol client my computer freezes after 3 sec, i cant do anything, i am forced to force restart my computer. I tried to login to league thrice, but the same thing is happening. Plz riot we need a solution, i really wanna play league and especially with the new game changes.
Hope this thread gets seen or at least some riot response. Can't even fathom what tiny code change could make a computer freeze to force a complete restart/shut down. I even repaired/reinstalled so all i can say is gj rito. GL ALL
I had this problem as well in some patch in the past, and now again. Last time i fixed it by reinstalling windows on my laptop and after that everything worked normally again. I will try it this time too and hopefully it works, not sure if it fixes the problem for anyone else but I'm just sharing my experience :)
Same exact thing happening to me thought my computer was just toast but happy to see others are experiencing the same problem. When I log in it allows me to do anything normally within 4 minutes into game I crash out or screen freezes totally, my merchant has red box in the background when trying to purchase things making it extremely hard to see things and I can't even run a 1v1 custom with a bot without it crashing or having to reconnect. Hope this is fixed soon.
So i might aswell jump in it's now happening to me aswell i log in fine'ish (it freezes for a bit then its ok although all the pretty articles and such on the client dont load) i queue up,and when the game launches i crash and get a bugsplat everytime.
Hey I am having an issue where whenever i log into league my whole computer freezes is that happening to anyone else?
I had to re-synch my clock in windows....right click adjust date/time internet time, change settings, update Now ...seems to have solved it for me
Same problem here. It takes a minute or so after I put in my password, then the client pops up for like half a second -- doesn't even finish loading, before everything just freezes and I have to forcefully shut down my computer.

Hi all I cant find the original posts who gave advice so unfortunately can't give them their due credit, but they said to resync the internet clock : adjust date and time settings/ internet time/ update now
As well as running the client as administrator.
I did both of these and for the first time since having the issue I've managed to log in without crashing
NOTE: This is on a windows 8 pc so may not help everyone, hopefully helps a few people regardless
I take a much needed break from League of Legends and finally want to play only to witness this happening to me as well. Is there a fix yet?
So I can log in and things just fine but whenever i try to play and it gets to the loading screen after champ select its just black and i get a freaking crash or i get the notification of "Unable to connect to the server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect to your game." is this going to be fixed anytime soon cuz its really freaking irritating or has anyone found anyways of fixing it ?
i have the same problems while i am playing the game freeze and i have to restart my computer to start playing again. ALSO WHEN I WANT TO LOG IN SOMETIMES I CANT BACAUSE I CANT CONNECT TO THE SERVER FOR SOME REASON AND I HAVE INTERNET. ALSO WHEN I AM PLAYING FOR SOME REASON THE GAME CRASED BECAUSE OF MY VIDEO CARD WHAT IS THA MEAN???
