I just did the Mid-Season update patch 7.9, and now whenever I load into a game, 3/4's of my screen is black, while only 1/4 shows the actual game. I've done two "Initiate Full Repairs" and restarted my client many times, but it still shows up as a black screen. Please help.

EXACT SAME PROBLEM. It's especially worrysome because i discovered this on a ranked solo/duo game.... so now I lost a game too
Forgot to mention I play on a Mac, maybe this has something to do with the issue??

I also am having the same issue, as well as reduced health bars size for all health bars, reduced mini map icons, reduced mouse size. The mouse seems to stay the system's default mouse, as it was not affected by mouse speed adjustments. Any attempt to fix the issue froze my system
UPDATE: I went into a custom game, then into the settings. I clicked restore to defaults, and then played around with the screen size settings. This actually fixed the issue for me, give it a try people!
same here I have a Mac too and first time playing the new patch only the top right corner have screen and the rest are just blacked out and at first I thought its something wrong with my Mac but after I repaired and got everything done, it still does the same thing. I even tried to reinstall league and it still does the same thing. Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I try to choose my lane, The flag doesn't appear. So I can't even join a game. On top of that, every time I do join a game, the champion select freezes
MacBook Pro, same problem. i was lucky enough want to do an AI to test out the new items... Never got a chance to.... RIOOOOT, FIX THE CONFIGS!
Yes I am on a mac also for some reason i can't get boarder-less to take up the full screen anymore since the update. My mouse feels horrible also not to mention the fact that the league mouse (the hand icon) does not always appear. For me as a long time league player the game is unplayable right now. Also please don't tell me to fiddle with the mouse settings act aha I know they exist.

I had this problem too and i'm going to tell you how to fix it. During a game go on the settings, video and change full screen or windowed, then reply it with borderless. It will automatically fix it.
I play on Windows 10 & only tonight I experienced my first bugsplat error. After champion select (ARAM) the game will just crash and I get disconnected & if I try to reconnect I will have the crash error again & again. Tried couple methods I found on google to fix it but none worked.
I'm on PC and my client has been having an absurd amount of lag since the patch. I have even been kicked out of games because I couldn't select a champ or select a ban....
