PVP.net patcher kernel has stopped working

Hey guys. Last night I got disconnected from the server due to the update for 2016. I tried clicking the logo and it said that PVP.net Kernel has stopped working. Is there any way to solve this problem? I tried running as admin and also changing the compatibility but without success still the same thing has occurred. I would deeply appreciate that this problem may be solved and I require help in doing so. Thanks!
