As I was playing a game I upgraded my warding totem into greater warding totem. I went to place the ward and I saw the Ward Skin Changed. Did Anyone else experienced this?

I noticed this as well, for I love using the Sun Disc ward skin (I main Sivir, and that's the closest Shuriman ward skin that's relevant). I've also noticed that this only occurs when upgrading your trinket to a vision totem and placing that ward. I've tested both of the other warding trinkets, both levels of the sightstone, and purchased stealth and vision wards as well; everything except the vision trinket ward appeared to be the Sun Disc ward. Even if you purchase vision wards, those wards will appear to be the Sun Disc. Because of this, it's possible to place a vision ward with each of those two skins in a single game. I do not own the Sad Mummy ward skin either, and I'm unsure as to whether this has any effect.

I feel that although this has little impact on gameplay, it's a nice little freebie for owners of this ward skin, whether it's intended or not. If you can't stand the look of it, then spending 100 gold on a normal vision ward usually won't make or break a game. Personally, I'd love to see options to customize purchased and trinket wards separately, as this could add some character to the gameplay. For example, if they added a spinning crossblade ward skin to the Shurima ward skin collection (which I would absolutely love), I could choose to use the sun disc for purchased wards and the crossblade for trinket wards. However, this isn't yet implemented and I'm sure this incident is just a bug.

TL;DR: I have noticed this bug as well and it only appears through upgrading the warding totem to place vision wards.
