League sent me to a lower patch...why?

I was going to play a Ranked game but league kicked me out and told me that my League was sent to a lower patch but it didnt say a reason. My internet was being weird for the past few days so i've been in and out from games, and now i have leave Busters due to this "patch" incident. do i get help for this? and if i do, what do i ask help on?
