Getting to Log In Client

Recently my League of Legends client will only take me to the screen with the big orange "Play" button on it. When I click on the "Play" button I hear the noise and the screen goes away but then no log in screen comes up. Is there a fix to this? Or do I need to re-install the game?

Try using the lol.launcher.admin to start the game instead of the standard lol.launcher. They are found right next to each other in the League of Legends folder. You can also try starting either of them in Administrator Mode (this is done by right clicking the application, and selecting "Run as Administrator").
