Double Buff Al Game

I just had a game as support on On first blood, our enemy supp got the double buff of our jungler. She decided to stay in lane with low health. I was able to kill her and got the double buff back. This is normal. But when the effects wore off, the visual red and blue band stayed on This kept going on all game, even when i got killed.
