Queue crash / Failure to join penalty

I just got a 28 minute queue infraction...because I couldn't choose a champ. I was in a queue and trying to select a champion but was unable to for some reason. After I was kicked, I wasn't able to launch another game...when I tried, the launch button was unresponsive... So I closed the client. When I reset the client, it downloaded an update....which I had just done yesterday, eventually I got into the client and when I tried to rank draft, it slotted me into a 28 minute wait time..... I've been having issues with the client since the launch of 6.1... Pls get back to me if you need any more information regarding this glitch and whether I'll be able to play my own account which I put a great deal of time into....
