Varus Q stop working mid Game (ARAM)

I was playing ARAM as Varus (first time) and about half way through the game, my Q just stopped working. So I thought, no big deal, I'll rebind it to a different key, but it still didnt work when it was bound to A. BUT I could use all my other skills no problem, my Q key works typing, so I know the key itself didnt die. Is this a common issue with Varus? I felt kind of useless to my team without my Q. Anyone have this problem? It's kind of a big deal for a Varus not to have it's main skill.
