No blue essence from disenchant

I leveled up to level 55 today and got my champion capsule. i opened it and got , who i dont want, so i disenchanted it. however, i got no blue essence from it. it didnt show an error or anything, it just didnt give me the blue essence. i tried relogging, i played another game to see if there was an issue, and after i played the next game, it said i leveled up to 55 again and said i have a champion capsule(it skipped the postgame screen the prior match that actually leveled me up to level 55), but i checked and there wasnt a new one, or the old one, or a shard, or BE. i cant figure it out, does anyone know what might have happened?
